šŸ”„ Why Uganda? Our Prophetic Journey to Be Carriers of the Flame

šŸ”„ Why Uganda? Our Prophetic Journey to Be Carriers of the Flame

I. The Personal Call … When God Interrupted My Comfort

Being a Carrier of the Flame isn’t a slogan.
It’s a mantle.
It’s an assignment.
It’s a yes that costs you something.

Growing up, I always imagined myself on the mission field. I felt this tug toward the nations — but as life went on, comfort settled in. Routines settled in. Safety settled in. And honestly? The idea of leaving the familiar felt overwhelming.

And let’s be real… I love slow mornings with my coffee and my puppies — like, deep love. I even told God, ā€œLord, I cannot lug these dogs to Uganda!ā€ šŸ˜‚ (He remained completely unmoved.) Because when God calls… He calls.

When Uganda first pressed on my heart, fear was the loudest voice in the room — the unknowns… the what-ifs… the responsibilities… the comfort I’d grown used to.

And if I can be really vulnerable — even the fear of failure and that nagging sense of inferiority tried to creep in. The kind that threatens to choke out the assignment on your life. Some of you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Sometimes those internal battles blur out a God-given vision and disguise themselves as, ā€œMaybe it’s just not God’s plan right now.ā€ But deep down, I knew that wasn’t the truth.

ā€œStep in… trust Me… go. Carry the flame. Release who I am in the earth. Not hype… but authority. Strength. The flame of My glory.ā€

And in my spirit, it felt like I was stepping into something generational. My dad always dreamed of going to Africa but never got the chance. So part of me feels like I’m going for him too — carrying his desire forward and letting that flame burn in a new place.

II. What It Means to Be a Carrier of the Flame

The phrase Carriers of the Flame is more than a shirt design — it’s a prophetic identity.

šŸ”„ The Flame

The power and presence of the Holy Spirit burning within you. Walking flames of love.

✨ For His Glory

Everything begins and ends here — not hype, but holiness and pure motive.

šŸŒ For the Nations

The global mandate. The Great Commission. The heartbeat of God.

You don’t need a passport to carry the flame. You carry it in your home… your workplace… your community… your everyday life. Your assignment matters.

III. Why Uganda … And What We’ll Be Doing (March 2026)

We will be traveling to Uganda in March 2026, partnering with Angela Stress Ministries — a ministry with a simple, beautiful, pure heart for the nations.

Our mission includes:

  • šŸ”„ Mass crusades
  • šŸ”„ Deliverance & healing ministry
  • šŸ”„ Prophetic ministry
  • šŸ”„ Pastoral & leadership equipping
  • šŸ”„ Orphan outreach & evangelism
  • šŸ”„ Village & street ministry

And the part I’m MOST excited about… my husband, Norbert, will be right beside me. I may not be able to bring my puppies 😭🐶 but I will have the next best thing — my LOVE. šŸ˜‚šŸ’› A major upgrade if you ask me.

This is a Kingdom assignment for BOTH of us… which means we will need to raise double the amount.

Total Needed: $7,000
